- Yutaka Okumura, President and CEO
Yutaka Okumura is a founder of FOI Corporation, and is consistently leading the company as a president since the establishment.
He was born in Hokkaido in 1950, and graduated from Faculty of Engineering Hokkaido University in 1973. He majors in electrical engineering, and excels at the analysis of electromagnetic field. After worked for NEC, Tokyo Electron, etc., he established our company.
He is leading our technology since the establishment by making full use of the knowledge of semiconductor technology learned at NEC & plasma process system learned at Tokyo Electron, and is commanding the development such as plasma etching systems of the next-generation type He is making efforts to the teaching of the junior staff who is responsible for next our company, while concentrates on the company's management.
- Masakazu Uehata, Executive Vice President and CFO
Masakazu Uehata assumed a post as director in March, 2001.
He was born in Ishikawa in 1964, and graduated from School of Law Meiji University in 1988. After the graduation, he joined Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. and was chiefly engaged in securities sales.
In 2000, he joined SBI Investment Co., Ltd. and engaged in venture investment, and then joined our company. In our company,
he is CFO & general manager of management dept. as well as representative director, and is doing his best to achieve the capital policy our company thinks about.
- Rokko Kono, Director
joined our company in September, 2003.
He was born in Osaka, and graduated from Faculty of Engineering Osaka University. After the graduation, he joined Tokyo Electron, and was chiefly engaged in field service. He joined our company after he worked as sales for Novellus Systems Japan and Semitool Japan, etc.
In our company, he is general manager of sales dept. as well as a director, and is promoting our sales & marketing activity.
- Georgy Vinogradov, Director
Georgy Vinogradov joined our company in May, 2002.
He was born in Russia in 1949, and graduated from Physics Department Leningrad Mechanical Institute. He was engaged in Plasma research at Central Institute of Plasma, Academy of Sciences USSR, and was awarded “Senior Scientific Fellow” of USSR in 1998. He was invited as a guest professor from Nagoya University in 1992, and worked for MC Electronics, etc., and then joined our company.
In our company, he assumes a general manager position of the R&D dept. as well as a director, and is promoting the most-advanced R&D activity.
- Michael Ricks, Director
Michael Ricks assumed a post as director in June, 2003.
He was born in USA in 1961, and graduated from University of California. After earned his MBA at the University of Chicago, he was engaged in IT-telecommunication business of early stage & big companies. And then, he worked for Ericsson China and imGO which is a subsidiary of Investor AB (Sweden) as CEO. In 2002, he assumed CEO of Investor Growth Capital Asia. In our company, he is an outside director, and counsels about electronic industry & East Asia business.
